Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Four acres of riverfront property with a view of the New Market Gap in the Massanutten Mountain range. Thirty minute drive to many caverns, wineries, orchards, George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah National Park, Bryce Resort and Massanutten Resort.
The Space
The downstairs has two bedrooms with queen beds and full bathrooms, and a half bath off the dining area. There are two sitting rooms on either side of the downstairs kitchen, one has a TV and the other has a futon that make a full size bed.
There are two sets of washer and dryers - one downstairs next to the pantry and one upstairs in the master bedroom.
The upstairs has an eat-in kitchen, a full bathroom, a spacious TV room, very large master bedroom with king bed and a full size futon. The master bath has a walk-in shower. There is a nook in the master bedroom that can be used for a workspace.
Wifi is available throughout the home.

Patti home is beautiful and welcoming!! She has thought of everything plus what you didn't think you needed!!! The ice machine in the downstairs kitchen is my new have to have someday!!!! The property is beautiful and every room is clean and very comfortable!! We will definitely be back!!

Viola River Lodge was perfect for our family of 8. It was clean, homey, and had everything we needed for a comfortable get away to visit family between Christmas and New Years. It is conveniently located yet offers private scenic spots for walking and taking in the natural beauty of the area.
We can't wait to go back again!

A beautiful and spacious home for a large family gathering. Plenty of space for everyone and a big kitchen for making huge family meals. Sunsets were just gorgeous. We took several lovely strolls down the scenic country lane next to the river. Patti was a gracious and responsive hostess.

This property is simply amazing. Growing up in this part of the country and returning to spend time with my family in this gorgeous home was nothing but absolute happiness. The home feels like home. Patti is an awesome host. A great place to relax and enjoy the Shenandoah Valley.
